Founded in 2006, the GITAS (Consortium of the Aeronautical and spatial Tunisian Industries) is a consortium of companies, in every facet of aerospace, with a common objective:

- To be based in Tunisia

- To have activities in aeronautical and spatial fields

The objectives and missions of the GITAS are :

- Promoting exchanges, cooperation and synergies between companies of the aeronautical and spatial sector implanted in Tunisia.

- To facilitate the development of a "supply chain" Tunisian aeronautics.

- Promoting, in Tunisia, an environment that is conducive to growth of the aerospace industry and the establishment of new enterprises in the field.

- Promoting the emergence of local suppliers with the high necessary aerospace accreditations and certifications.
